Harold Sawyer (b. 23 Feb 1876), son of William Arthur Sawyer and Ruth Swift, married Laura Ethel Baker (b. 17 Aug 1881), daughter of Thomas Barnes Baker and Florence Emily Lovegrove, on 10 Oct 1907, at St James' Church, Derby.
Harold and Laura had only one child:
- Frederick Harold Sawyer b. 10 Feb 1909 M Quarter in SCULCOATES Volume 09D Page 269, bap. 4 Apr 1909 at St. John the Evangelist, Hull.
In 1911, Harold Sawyer (35) Boot and Shoe Dealer was living at 79 Princes Avenue Hull, Sculcoates, with wife Laura Ethel Sawyer (29) from Derby, Derbyshire, Assisting in the Business and Frederick Harold Sawyer (2).
In 1921, still at 79, Princes Avenue, Sculcoates, were Harold Sawyer (45) Boot & Shoe Dealer; Laura Ethel Sawyer (39) and Frederick Harold Sawyer (12).
In 1939, Harold Sawyer, Ledger Clerk (oil) and Laura E Sawyer, were listed as living at 20 De Avenue, Kingston Upon Hull. (I think they mean Ormonde Avenue).
Harold Sawyer died, aged 66, on 18 Mar 1942 (M Quarter in HULL Volume 09D Page 503) at 20 Ormonde Avenue, Hull. Probate was granted on 5 May 1942 to Laura Ethel Sawyer and Frederick Harold Sawyer.
Laura Ethel Sawyer died, aged 78, in 1959, in Southampton, Hampshire.
Frederick Harold Sawyer died at 56, in 1965, in Southampton, Hampshire.
